The classrooms cater to all learning styles by ensuring access to smart board technology adding another dimension to the teaching learning process. The content repository caters to the full spectrum of needs all across from LKG to Class XII via 3D and 2D multimedia modules covering a vast range of topics.

Fully equipped and well-designed Physics, Biology and Chemistry Laboratories form an integral aspect of developing scientific temperament in the students along with promoting experiential learning. Apart from the required resources and materials, the labs are also equipped with Smart Boards for an enhanced teaching-learning experience.

Routine visits to the Math Lab are a part of the Math Curriculum and students imbibe logical reasoning and categorical thinking skills with the help of functional models. Mathematics faculty encourage love for the Subjects through a wide variety of activities and strategies such as stations, centres, anchor activities, exit cards, audit cards, ganit malas and so on. In addition, the learners are, also, provided basic training in Abacus and Vedic Mathematics to extend their learning.

The Junior & Senior computer labs at SGS are well-equipped with the latest computers and educational/training software(s)/simulators. Students begin early to familiarize themselves with applications like Scratch, Stick and TuxPaint/TuxType to help them hone their IT skills. By the end of middle classes, students are confidently able to harness the power of Internet and AI, develop mobile apps, work on multimedia projects and use integrated software applications. Students are routinely encouraged to use technology in their Science classes, Computer classes, Language classes and in the Math lab.

Sport is integral to Life@SGS. Students from all age groups can enjoy, relax and exercise all at the same time. We have brilliant coaches who encourage and motivate students and teach them good sportsmanship. Our school has the ground and facilities for Outdoor Sports like Cricket, Football, Basketball, Throw ball, Volley Ball, Netball, Rope Skipping, Athletics, skating and Karate along with Indoor Sports like Table Tennis, Chess, Yoga and Aerobics.

A trained nurse attends to the medical emergencies in the well-equipped medical center. A team of doctors is on-call if there is a medical crisis. Every possible care of the children is taken during the school hours. Basic first-aid facilities are provided as and when necessary. The school conducts regular medical check-ups (for both students and staff) and eye check-ups to inform the parents of their wards’ well-being.

The school cafeteria provides sumptuous and hygienically prepared meals. Light snacks, soups, juices, hot and cold beverages are available. Our school cafeteria serves no junk or fried foods to students. We are a no-plastic zone and hence only organic disposable or steel utensils are used to serve food. Refreshments are nutritious and wholesome and are prepared in hygienic conditions. Students can visit the cafeteria during the recess to take and eat snacks and meals.

“Books are a man’s best friend” – and in the view of the current focus on digital literacy, we at SGS are ensuring that the love for books is alive in our students. To expand and widen the horizons of the students as well as teachers, SGS maintains a Junior and Senior library for our primary and senior wings respectively. The reading material is exhaustive - fiction and non-fiction books and a wide range of journals for both curricular and recreational needs. Both the libraries subscribe to periodicals and leading dailies, along-with general reading and long and short-range reference services. It also supplies teaching and other materials to enrich the classroom activities and teaching.

In an endeavour to inculcate practical learning of science concepts and a flair for Engineering, the School has set up a Robotics Lab for the students. Robotronics and AI is integral to the lab’s curriculum. Students encouraged to create innovative and challenging AI enabled solutions to help solve a real life challenge. As a part of this exercise, students have created smart solutions to save electricity in classrooms. These solutions have been installed in our junior and secondary wings.
