(COUNCIL FOR THE INDIAN SCHOOL CERTIFICATE EXAMINATION), NEW DELHI.
Calcutta Public School, Kalikapur branch(affiliation no. WB214) and Calcutta Public School, Bidhan Park branch (affiliation no. WB 344) has both I.C.S.E. as well as I.S.C. courses running where students can choose subjects of their interest. The I.S.C. segment offers courses in Science, Humanities and Commerce where pupils can choose their subjects as per the Council's guidelines.
All formal school subjects are taught in class. The medium of instruction is English.
There is no formal examination for the kindergarten pupils. They are assessed on a continuous comprehensive basis modeled on a specially designed development profile. The focus is on the overall development of the child.
Promotion is granted on the basis of the pupil's performance throughout the year for all classes. All year around senior classes take full length unit tests ,conducted intermittently in the academic year which has two terms. Senior classes take full length block tests for their assessment. The method of evaluating and reporting the pupils' progress is modern, scientific and transparent providing a clear insight of the child's academic as well as extra-curricular advancement.

To create a “A Building With Four Walls And Tomorrow Inside.” This will propagate the culture of India and its holistic values in surroundings driven by modern technology and a focused pursuit of the intellect. The focus is on nurturing well-rounded personalities with the skills to excel in the world they will inherit in time. We have a team of teachers and academicians amidst us who are highly experienced and are regarded as institutions in themselves. Their constant supervision shall ensure that the quality shall never be compromised. The school follows a 360° model wherein all the people involved shall work towards one mission - "Educating Students for Life". The main mission of CPS is to envisage that students will learn, develop and grow in the competitive arena in Today & Tomorrow.
