2020-21 Will Not Be A Zero Year. Here Is Why

Amit Khare, Higher Education Secretary has told that students of the first year will probably join in November-December, and examinations and classes will be conducted of current higher education students. He informed this as a response to questions about higher education exams, classes, and admissions from MPs.

Further, 2020 will not be treated as a "Zero Year" as examinations and classes will be conducted.

A meeting was held on Monday to discuss digital education initiatives which was attended by Khare, Anita Karwal and UGC chairman D P Singh.
