Due to COVID-19, kids are having virtual classes that have resulted in increased screen time. However, this can invite eye strain, dry eyes, and some serious vision issues too.

So, ophthalmologists are suggesting that every 45 minutes there should be a break for kids. Similarly, after long sessions, a break of 1-2 hours must be provided by teachers.

Further, kids should have their classes in the morning and afternoon only. So, that they will not use devices in the evening and at night.
Elaborating it they have recommended that a 20-20-20 rule should be followed. In this method, the child can take a break of 20 seconds, every 20 minutes, and look away from the screen or at any object that is 20 feet away.
